I will choose a location where shade is available, but you will have greater flexibility if you have a sketching umbrella or something to shade your iPad screen. You will need your iPad and Apple Pencil and if possible, something to cast shade. I will offer help and suggestions along the way. We will meet there and after a brief orientation where I cover basic drawing techniques using the app Procreate, you can set up and start drawing. I will choose a site for drawing closer to the session.

Although there are styli that work on the iPhone, the iPad offers the big advantage of using the Apple Pencil as well as more room. I have used my iPhone to draw while I am waiting for my partner to try on suits, on a bus, in the car while waiting for an appointment, in a park. One of the great advantages to drawing on the iPad (or iPhone…) is that it is so easy to bring everywhere. “The iPad as a Plein Air Sketchbook” - with Barbara Braman
